Welcome to the Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association of Canada!
The Association is a registered national non-profit corporation with a membership of ca. 1100 hang glider, paraglider and speedwing pilots across Canada.
Its member pilots participate in unpowered, free flight and are trained by HPAC-certified Instructors and Senior Instructors according to a national flight training curriculum and rating system set by the Association.
The Association is the vehicle for the self-governance of the sport in Canada, and operates in observance of Transport Canada Air Regulations.

The Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association of Canada is a member of the Aero Club of Canada and affiliated with the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI) and the Commission Internationale de Vol Libre (CIVL).
The Association collaborates worldwide with other national associations dedicated to hang gliding, paragliding and speedflying.
