Wondering why no one answered this. Wasn't it a requirement from Ski Hills in BC and Quebec, and for some municipal parks?
Here in BC we now have the option to apply for a "Recreational Site" listing via MTSA (Ministry of Tourism, Sports and the Arts) which if all goes well should provide an additional 2 Million insurance from the Gov't of BC. I'm wondering if this would be in addition to our required minimum or would make up any needed difference. The MTSA Rec Site listing is free, versus the LWBC (now Front Counter BC) approach that was onerous at the very least in terms of paperwork, time... let alone other costs.
